Chopped strand glass fiber combines the electrical and mechanical properties of traditional E glass & E-Cr Glassfiber  

Product Description

Phenolic Chopped Strands are made from continuous strands of glass filaments designed to reinforce Phenolic Grade Resins.  Specially designed to be compatible with phenolic resins based on silane coupling agent. Standard chopped strand lengths are manufactured in 3, 6 &12 mm. However we can supply as per customer’s requirement.

Chopped Strands are used in combination with high-performance resin with a certain content, applied to FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastics) and FRTP (Fiber Reinforced Thermo Plastics) for automobiles and electronics as reinforcing materials.
